HOW THE WORLD HONOURS OUR FATHERS

Wishing all Dads a Happy Father's Day. It's a special day of honouring our fathers and father figures today.
In many European countries, Father's Day has been celebrated on November 16, as Saint Joseph's Day since the Middle Ages. The holiday is held on various dates across the world and different regions maintain their own traditions of honouring fatherhood. In Canada and the USA, Father's Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June since the first time in 1910.
All our German followers know; in Germany, fathers celebrate it in May on Ascension Day. 
For all German employees it is a day off - since 1934 Ascension Day has been a public holiday in Germany. However, many people are more familiar with the day as Father's Day. Excursion tours in particular (with beer and handcart) are a popular ritual that has developed around Father's Day.
