    Experience a festive season with a difference – visit the Vancouver Christmas Market voted as one of Canada´s best in 2014

    Since 2009 the "Vancouver Christmas Market" has been held in front of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver Downtown. A giant Christmas tree, which is topped with a bright shining 1.3 m Herrnhut Star, can be seen from far away. Next to the Christmas tree, traditionally decorated stands invite visitors to stay and enjoy delicious specialties.

    This year the market shines even brighter with more Herrnhut Stars at the entrance and supporting the free kids activity “Herrnhut Star Seeker Scavenger Hunt”

    Tip: Instead of buying Christmas decoration, how about “building your own star”. Bring your kids and see how much fun we offer kids at the “Herrnhuter Sterne” booth.

    Come with your kids. Use the time before Christmas to take a perfect short trip to an authentic German "Christmas Market". We would be delighted to welcome you to our “Herrnhuter Sterne” booth at the Queen Elizabeth Plaza in Vancouver Downtown. Nowhere else at the Westcoast of Canada can you experience the uniqueness of a European Christmas market as in Vancouver.

    More than 50 vendors offer their traditional Christmas wares. Individually decorated stands offer handicraft goods and Christmas jewelry as well as delicacies made of gingerbread, almond spiced biscuits and cinnamon. The familiar aroma of Christmas baking permeates the whole of the market. Let our “Herrnhuter Sterne” team welcome you and enjoy one of the most beautiful times in the year.
