The special edition is a yearly highlight in addition to all other products of the Herrnhuter Sterne Manufacture in Germany. The silver-glitter coloured star is something very special and extends the annual editions to an unusual and stylish variant which we are proud to present.

This beautiful colour was chosen because of the Herrnhuter 125-year anniversary in Germany. It is preferable to combine silver with darker colours. Our red little star is certainly a good choice for this. However, for the elegant appearance of our new edition, it can also be combined very well with white. We hope you will like it. Since 2015, Herrnhuter offers a special colour every year, only available as long as stock lasts. The special edition star is only available as an A1e single star with a diameter of 13 cm. Use is for indoor use only. The limited edition 2022 of this silver-glitter coloured star speaks for itself, not only Herrnhut Stars fans will love it.

The original Herrnhut Stars (widely known as Moravian stars) adorn many apartments, churches and squares during the Advent and Christmas seasons. For more than 160 years, they have been made by hand in a brought variety of sizes and colours, with each star always having 25 points - 17 square and 8 triangular. The traditional Herrnhut plastic stars are available in 4 different sizes between 13cm and 130cm in diameter and in 7 different colours.

In Germany, the special edition is so popular that most retailers limit its availability. In order to give as many customers as possible the chance to purchase a special edition Herrnhut Star, the maximum purchase quantity often is set to 1 piece per order and buyer! The limited special edition is only produced in limited quantities meaning that also here in North America quantity is rare.
